Aims and Scope

The Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels aims, through publishing scientific research that is characterized by modernity, innovation, and high quality, to:

1- Achieve a scientific addition in the fields of tourism and hotel studies and tourist guidance.
2- Addressing contemporary societal problems (locally and regionally) in the fields of tourism, hotel studies, and tourism guidance.
3- Presenting the most prominent global and modern applied trends in the fields of tourism, hotel studies, and tourism guidance.
4- Encouraging young researchers and graduate students in the faculty and from similar faculties to publish research drawn from their theses.


The research addresses many topics related to tourism, hospitality, tourism guidance, and studies of Egyptian history and heritage, which relate to important topics linked to contemporary issues, for example, but not limited to tourism economics, modern trends in tourism marketing, e-tourism, tourism and hotel legislation, human resources management, crisis management, tourism education and training, heritage and tourist sites management, tourist events and occasions, information systems and technology, travel and tourism agency business, and sustainable tourism development.
